Let It Go

Please don’t worry. 

Please don’t fret. 

Please don’t harbor 

all that regret.

It’s not your fault that 

they never knew...

How amazing life

could be with you.

They treated you poorly...

Didn’t know what they had.

Don’t give that a thought, and

don’t be mad.

Cause, though, what they did, 

was so unnerving...

Never give away your power

to the undeserving.

Just because they 

couldn’t treat you right,

that’s not a reason

to cry at night.

Wipe your tears, and

cleanse your heart.

Erase those fears,

you’ve got a brand new start.

There’s someone out there,

so, start a new, cause

they might be rare,

but, ‘meant‘ for you.

You’ve so much to offer

to a deserving person...

So don’t be afraid 

of what’s uncertain.

Take your life

by the reigns

Lose the strife...

Forget your pains.

Don’t hold yourself back...

come out of that cage.

Don’t lose track...

re-engage.

There’s so much opportunity

that, for you, awaits...,

Could be a great ‘unity‘

beyond that gate.

Don’t cheat yourself.

Don’t shutdown.

It’s not your fault 

that they were a ‘clown’.
