Mind Motel
it was a beautiful place.
Decorated with photos, and,
filled with happy moments.
Now...dirty footprints litter the halls, and,
any, and, all photos appear to have faded.
The space is condemned.
Clambering with haunts of another time.
Ghosts appear, once in a while, but,
there is ‘No Squatting’, allowed, here.
Trappings have been disposed of,
Nonsense cleared out, and,
the space has been rid of all it’s murkiness.
While it is, now, clean, and,
free of the remnants of past destruction...
it is, no longer available for rent.
There is no vacancy.
Old ghosts are no longer permitted
to take up residency here.
Lease terminated.
Eviction notice served.
