Tranquil

 

When people do me wrong, 

I don’t get mad, anymore.

That takes, too much, of my energy, 

and, it robs me of my peace. 

I don’t hate… 

because, I never give away my power.  

I just cut you off, with no explanation…because, you ‘already know’, what you did.

I, will, laugh at myself, though…

because I always, do, 

when I make foolish mistakes.

Life is way, too short, 

to take things, so, seriously.

And, it’s, too, important, 

to let the unimportant take up space.

So, I will move on, and, 

have myself a good laugh.

Because when I can laugh at myself…

Not only do I grow…

but, I, also, set myself free.
